Reflections is an artistic collaboration between DOP Bastian Kempf and Creative Director Daniel Lathwesen. While Daniel was responsible for the concept, styling and directing of the film, Bastians part was the camera work, editing and co – directing.
Represented by Offenblende production based in Berlin, both artists created Reflections as their third fashion film project.
‘‘ The whole idea would not have worked without the two protagonists, Azza & Azama Bashir. The twins, originally from Canada, got educated in modern & classical dance in New York City, before they moved to Berlin. Azza and Azama work for almost over 7 years now for the famous Friedrichstadt Palast Revue Show in the capital of Germany. Soundmix and recording for the film was made by Stefan Kraatz at Kraatz Studios Berlin. Actress Enya Elstner gave her voice for the words of Suzy Kassam. ” Daniel tells Flanelle.
